Public libraries - perspectives of changes in postpandemic society

The aim of the paper is to present some of the results of the research on the situation of public libraries in Poland during the first lockdown (Spring 2020). The subject of the analysis will be the respondents' opinions on the impact of this crisis on the current and future functioning of libraries, especially on funding and employment, decline in the reading base (departure of the smallest and oldest readers), activities in crisis, libraries in the crisis management system and building social resilience.
